1. Select a Project

When you first access Echo, you'll need to select a project:

  • Use the dropdown menu at the top labeled "Select a Project"
  • Choose the project you want to work with
  • The system will automatically load search terms associated with the selected project

2. View Search Terms

After selecting a project, you'll see a list of search terms:

  • Each search term appears as a collapsed item showing:
    • The keyword or phrase being monitored
    • Total number of mentions found
    • Date of the last mention
  • Click on any search term to expand it and see more details

3. Exploring Search Term Details

When you expand a search term, you'll see:

Filter Options:

  • Search Box: Filter mentions by specific text
  • Language Filter: View mentions in a particular language
  • Page Type Filter: Filter by content type (blog, news, forum, etc.)
  • Date Range: Set a specific time period to analyze

Mention Results:

  • Each mention appears as a card showing:
    • Source website
    • Snippet of text containing your search term
    • Date published
  • Results are paginated if there are many mentions (use pagination controls at the bottom)

4. Getting AI-Powered Analysis

For deeper insights into your mentions, use the AI analysis feature:

  1. Click on a search term to expand it
  2. Find the "AI" button in the filter options area
  3. Click the "AI" button to generate an in-depth analysis
  4. Wait while the system processes your mention data (this may take a moment)
  5. Review the comprehensive analysis that appears below your mentions

5. Understanding the AI Analysis

The AI Analysis provides valuable insights organized into several categories:

Core Trends:

  • Major Themes: Primary topics appearing in mentions
  • Secondary Topics: Less prominent but still significant topics
  • Emerging Trends: New topics beginning to gain traction

Attributes:

  • Key Features: Product or brand features frequently mentioned
  • Sentiment Correlation: How different features relate to positive or negative sentiment

Experience:

  • Positive Experiences: What people praise about your brand or product

  • Short Term: Immediate actions to consider

  • Export Mentions: Click the export button (CSV icon) to download mentions as a CSV file
  • Export AI Analysis: After generating AI analysis, click the export button in the analysis section to download insights as a CSV file

These exports can be opened in spreadsheet programs like Excel or Google Sheets.

AI button not producing analysis? The search term needs to have sufficient mentions for analysis to work effectively.

Filtered results not showing? Reset your filters and try again with fewer restrictions.
