The Mentions by Language Chart is a stacked bar chart that displays how your online mentions are distributed across different languages over time. This visualization helps you understand the linguistic reach of your brand, keywords, or content and how it evolves over time.

Where to Find the Chart

You can access the Mentions by Language Chart on the Echo Insights page of your dashboard echo-insight.

Understanding the Chart

The Mentions by Language Chart displays:

  • Horizontal (X) Axis: Shows dates in chronological order
  • Vertical (Y) Axis: Shows the count of mentions
  • Colored Bars: Each color in the stacked bar represents a different language
  • Stacking: The bars are stacked to show both individual language counts and total mentions per day

How to Use the Filtering Options

Project Filter

  • Select "All" to view language distribution across all your projects
  • Choose a specific project to focus on language distribution for that project only

Page Type Filter

  • "All" shows language breakdown across all content types
  • Select a specific page type to see language distribution within that category only

Search Term Filter

  • "All" displays language distribution for all your tracked keywords
  • Choose a specific search term to see language patterns for just that keyword

Date Range Filter

  • Select different time periods to analyze how your language distribution changes over time
  • Common options include last 30 days, 90 days, or custom ranges

  • Dominant Languages: Colors that consistently appear at the bottom of the stack represent your most frequent languages
