The Mentions Over Time Chart tracks how often your brand, keywords, or content appears in search results over a specific period. This graph shows trends in your online visibility, helping you understand when and how frequently your brand is being mentioned.

Where to Find the Chart

You can access the Mentions Over Time Chart on the Echo Insights page of your dashboard. Look for the chart titled "Mentions Over Time" when you navigate toecho insights .

Understanding the Chart

The Mentions Over Time Chart displays:

• Timeline: The horizontal (x) axis shows dates
• Mention Count: The vertical (y) axis shows the number of mentions
• Data Points: Each point on the line represents the total mentions for that specific day

How to Use the Filtering Options

You can customize what data appears on your chart using the following filters:

Project Filter

• Select "All" to view mentions across all your projects
• Or choose a specific project to focus on its mentions only

Page Type Filter

• "All" shows mentions across all content types
• Select specific types like "blogs" or "news" to see mentions in those categories only
• Some page types may appear as combinations (e.g., "blogs,news")

Search Term Filter

• "All" displays mentions for all your tracked keywords
• Choose a specific search term to see mentions for just that keyword

Date Range Filter

• Select from preset timeframes: 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 12 months
• The default view shows data from the past 7 days

Identifying Trends

• Upward Trends: More mentions over time may indicate growing visibility
• Sudden Spikes: Could represent a successful campaign, viral content, or news event
