AI Overviews
Google now shows AI-generated summaries at the top of search results. These AI Overviews appear before traditional search results and answer queries directly.
When your content appears in these overviews, you'll reach users at the exact moment they're searching. This guide shows you how to track and understand your AI Overview performance in the SERP360 AI SEO tools.

Why AI Overviews matter
AI Overviews grab attention. They sit above organic results and featured snippets.
When Google cites your content here, you're building authority. You'll gain visibility without users clicking through to traditional results. That's valuable exposure.
Find your AI Overview data
Navigate to the AI Overview section in your keywords dashboard. Scroll down and you'll see the AI Overviews table.
The table shows every keyword where Google displays an AI Overview. You'll see which keywords trigger these summaries and whether your domain appears as a source.
Understanding the table
Each row displays one keyword. Here's what you'll see:
Keyword — The search term that triggered an AI Overview.
Volume — Monthly search volume for this keyword.
Sections — How many content blocks Google includes in the overview.
Sources — Total number of websites Google cites.
Summary — A preview of Google's AI-generated content.
Source — Shows whether your domain appears as a cited source.

Position badges
When Google cites a source, you'll see a position badge. This shows where that page ranks in traditional organic results.
A #3 badge means that page sits in position three on the SERP. This helps you understand which ranking positions Google pulls from.
Filter your view
By search group
Use the search group dropdown to focus on specific domain sets. This narrows your data to relevant keywords.
By source domain
Filter to see only keywords where specific websites appear. Find competitors' mentions or track which sites dominate your topic space.
Track your domain count
The domain source counter shows how many keywords cite your website. Watch this number grow as you optimise content.
This metric tells you how often Google trusts your content enough to feature it in AI summaries.
How the data loads
SERP360 loads AI Overview data automatically. The table displays 10 keywords per page. Use the pagination controls to browse through your results.
Data refreshes when you change filters. The system loads the most recent AI Overviews Google displayed for each keyword.
